Good luck with your English class. It was always my favorite subject.

Grandpa got a new hearing aid today. Not because of your spot-on descriptions of grandma and grandpa but because I can remember the way grandpa used to be and it never occurred to me all that had changed because of that one little piece of technology that was supposed to fix so many things but instead has apparently broken a man...Intense Auntie!!! but I loved it too! :)Andrew Rhodeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13164993631679550581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6858983085428585414.post-65344907048138421792009-08-13T14:05:03.190-07:002009-08-13T14:05:03.190-07:00Thanks Laura! Thanks Laura!Yvonne Osbornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18212188414972694795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6858983085428585414.post-62477653467083712572009-08-13T08:38:43.068-07:002009-08-13T08:38:43.068-07:00Awww... that made me teary eyed! I used to think that if I had to lose one of my senses I could do without hearing. But now I know it would be as devastating as losing sight. Thanks again for your encouraging words.Yvonne Osbornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18212188414972694795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6858983085428585414.post-67881891935389391252009-08-12T09:08:36.512-07:002009-08-12T09:08:36.512-07:00Profound and beautiful. He was in his 90s and had lost most of his hearing, so he sat on the sofa, smiling bemusedly while a few people would try to shout conversations with him. It struck me as tragic that a brilliant man was isolated so.Tricia J. O'Brienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05993110400088806252noreply@blogger.com
