A story about them is in the Flapper Press this month.
After my mother died, I found a mink stole wrapped in newspaper at the bottom of the cedar chest . . .
Yes, living where I do, we have rat stories, mink stories, weasel and skunk stories, the knock-in-the-night stories. Nocturnal stories.
Fodder for a memoir. Would you pull up a chair?

I spent my younger years in old places. They were full of nocturnals, like gothic tales. I like touch of the gothic in all my stories.
Gladly.
Vanessa, I can see a bit of the gothic in this tale. And in your stories! Your latest compilation.
Helen,
Yay! We'll have something good to drink.:)
Enjoyed the story very much.
Thanks Tony!!
