The Flapper Press recently published my essay, The Cedar Swamp and the Car Wreck, in their online magazine and just nofiied me that they nominated it for a Pushcart Prize.

That's a good question. I don't know how that works or who painted it, but I loved it too and thought it was a lovely compliment to my essay.
