Blogger Question

I recently got wireless. Really. Can you believe it? But all is not well in Bloggerville. I can no longer upload photos and many profile pictures are little boxes with red X's in them instead of interesting images, and I keep getting these irritating security warnings about whether or not I only want secure web content to be delivered. Have any of you had this happen? I should not have to keep right-clicking to display pictures/page with full quality. Know what I mean?

Thinking fondly of my old dialup...

Yvonne,

I do my blogging almost entirely over wireless and haven't had any problems. It sounds like your computer adjusted its security settings when you connected to the wireless and that's probably causing the problem.

Nevets,
I'm thinking the same thing. So I need to figure out how to unadjust...my wireless co. should be able to help. I would think, don't you?
Thanks.

Yes, they should normally be able to walk you through it. It's not too difficult, but it will be easier with someone guiding you through the steps.

Oh no! I hope someone can help you.

Good luck getting the wireless company to help. I don't understand why it's always such a pain. We had to install a new router, made by the same company as the previous one, and it was like starting over. The spousal unit still can't get the printer to work for her now.

Rosaria,
Yes, me too!

Trav,
Geesz, that's awful. Yeah, the people at the other end of the wireless tech help line can barely speak English, though they have names like "Mike" and "Dave" so I expect it'll be a problem. My word verification is coped:)

Yvonne, if you get junky help, let me know and I'd be happy to write up a little walk-through I could e-mail you on some likely places the change might have happened.

(I'm in customer support in IT at a university, so I've probably seen most of the things that go wrong with such situations.)

Nevets,

If you could, that'd be awesome. I'll email you.
